Die verhältnismässig niedere Konzentrationstemperatur bei Unterdruck bedingt weiterhin geringen Brennstoffverbrauch.
Bei der Ausführung des Verfahrens kann man beispielsweise derart verfahren, dass man sich einer Bleipfannenkonzentrationsanlage bedient, bei welcher die Pfannen terassenförmig aufgebaut und mit Überläufen versehen sind und von unten her nach dem Gegenstromprinzip beheizt
