  Verfahren zur Herstellung von watteartigen Stoffen. 



   Zur Herstellung watteartiger Stoffe sind verschiedene Verfahren angewendet worden. 



  Eines dieser Verfahren besteht darin, dass in ein dünnes, gewebtes oder gewirktes Fadensystem beim Weben oder Wirken dicke, weich gesponnene, daher gut rauhfähige Fäden eingebunden werden ; der so hergestellte Stoff wird sodann mit Hilfe einer Rauhmaschine auf einer oder beiden Seiten aufgerauht, wodurch ein watteartiger Stoff entsteht. Bei einem anderen Verfahren wird ein netzartiger Stoff auf einer oder auf beiden Seiten mit einem   Fliess   bedeckt. Die Vereinigung zwischen Fliess und Netz erfolgt entweder durch Aufeinanderpressen oder Leimen. Ein weiteres Verfahren besteht darin, dass ein Fliess so nahe an einem Wirkstuhl vorbeibewegt wird, dass es in den Bereich der hin und her gehenden Wirknadeln gelangt, so dass die Wirknadeln Fasern aus dem Fliess herausreissen und in das zu erzeugende Gewirke einarbeiten. 



   Das den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildende Verfahren zur Erzeugung von watteartigen Stoffen besteht in folgendem :
Ein auf einer Krempel aus Baumwolle, Schafwolle und dgl. hergestelltes Fliess wird auf ein aus dünnen hartgesponnenen Fäden gewebtes oder gewirktes Fadennetz gelegt und das Ganze einer Rauhmaschine zum Rauhen dargeboten, so zwar, dass das Netz zwischen dem Fliess und den Rauhwalzen zu liegen kommt. Es zeigt sich nun, dass die
Fasern des Fliosses durch das Netz hindurchgezogen werden, indem die Stiften der Rauh- walzen durch das Netz hindurch zum Fliess vordringen, die Fasern desselben erfassen und durch das Netz hindurchziehen.

   Various processes have been used to produce cotton wool-like fabrics.



  One of these methods is that in a thin, woven or knitted thread system during weaving or knitting, thick, soft-spun threads, which are therefore easily rough, are incorporated; the fabric produced in this way is then roughened on one or both sides with the aid of a hoisting machine, whereby a cotton-wool-like fabric is produced. Another method is to cover a net-like fabric on one or both sides with a fleece. The union between flowing and net is done either by pressing them together or by gluing. Another method is that a fleece is moved so close to a knitting chair that it gets into the area of the knitting needles moving back and forth, so that the knitting needles tear fibers out of the fleece and work them into the knitted fabric to be produced.



   The process for the production of cotton wool-like materials, which is the subject of the present invention, consists of the following:
A fleece made on a card of cotton, sheep's wool and the like is placed on a thread net woven or knitted from thin hard-spun threads and the whole thing is presented to a hoisting machine for roughing, so that the net comes to lie between the fleece and the rough rollers. It is now evident that the
