EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The present invention relates to a pencil protector. The innovation is that it is curved according to a curve, for example according to a curved section or an elongated S-shape.
This makes it possible to use one and the same pencil protector for pencils of different thicknesses with the same success, because the pencil will always find contact points in the protector on which it can be supported.
The pencil protector is shown in the drawing in two exemplary embodiments.
Fig. 1 shows a schooner 1 which is curved according to a circular arc segment. 2 and 3 show this protector with a pencil 2 or 3 inserted in it. The pencil 2 is significantly thicker than the pencil 3. Therefore, the pencil 2 will not slide into the protector as deeply as the pencil 3 Both pencils but will find in the same schooner, in spite of the difference in thickness, enough points of contact on which they can support themselves. These support points are marked by arrows in Figures 2 and 3, for example.

illustrated. The schooner 4 is bent in an elongated S-shape. 5 and 6 show it with inserted '"' teistifteu 5 and 6 which have different Ihcke.
Even with the S-shape of the Scone, pencils of different thicknesses can easily be supported in one and the same protector.
The new protectors can be made of any material (sheet metal, celluloid, galalith or the like) with the same effectiveness. It is not necessary to use elastic material. The cap of the protector can end in any shape (cone, point, ball or the like).
PATENT CLAIMS:
