Beim Einstellen der Objektiventfernung bei photographischen Apparaten und noch bei verschiedenen anderen Arbeiten bedient man sich bekanntlich einer Lupe, um die Schärfe des auf der Mattscheibe erscheinenden Bildes beurteilen zu können. Hiebei zeigt sich aber der Nachteil, dass der hinter der Mattscheibe befindliche Raum wegen der ihn seitlich umschliessenden Schirme schwer zugänglich ist, was zur Folge hat, dass das Halten der Lupe mit der Hand sehr unbequem ist, so dass nur schwer eine genaue Einstellung der Lupe erzielt werden kann. Ein weiterer Nachteil, der hiemit verbunden ist, besteht darin, dass nur die eine Hand zum Einstellen des Objektivs frei bleibt.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Lupe, die mit einer Haltevorrichtung ausgerüstet ist, weiche es ermöglicht, die Lupe derart über die Mattscheibe zu bringen, dass sie von selbst in der richtigen Entfernung vom Bild verbleibt, so dass eine Hand zum Halten des Apparates und die andere zum Einstellen des Objektivs freibleibt.
