Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 5>

   The invention relates to a sandwich panel for land vehicles, for ships and for construction, with at least one, preferably with two carrier plates, a core layer made of polyurethane being provided on the carrier plate or between the carrier plates.

   In land vehicles, especially in rail vehicles, drive motors, aggregates (diesel) and fans cause a large number of disturbing vibrations which continue via floor plates or from element to element. Furthermore, rail joints, which are sometimes a few cm in size, cause very unpleasant impacts, which have a very negative impact on the comfort of passengers in the train compartment.

   Building and construction panels are known which are constructed from several layers.

   EP 692 423 discloses a sandwich panel made of two spaced-apart plywood panels with a cork core panel in between. This panel has a high sound insulation value and is used as a floor panel in land vehicles, especially in rail vehicles. Compared to conventional plywood panels with the same static strength, such panels have a greatly reduced density and a significantly improved sound insulation value. However, disturbing vibrations are only damped very little.

   A sandwich plate of the type mentioned is known from DE 201 08 358 U1. There is described a sandwich panel or a laminate structure with a decorative covering for a floor covering. The structure essentially comprises two spaced-apart carrier boards made of fiber, MDF or HDF boards, an intermediate foam-like, hardened layer based on polyurethane and a decorative layer on the top. The polyurethane core serves as an impact sound-absorbing layer, which must be installed as an additional thin layer of cork or a thin fleece in conventional laminate floors. Such sandwich panels comprising MDF or HDF have high sound insulation values, but the static and mechanical ones

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 The strength of such panels is extremely low.

   These plates are intended as a support on a solid floor and not as a construction element for the formation of a load-bearing floor. There is no information in DE 9410972 U1 about the damping of vibrations.

   The invention aims to provide a sandwich panel that can withstand static loads and absorbs or strongly dampens both disturbing vibrations and shocks as well as sound or body and impact sound.

   This object is achieved according to the invention by a sandwich panel of the type described in the introduction in that the carrier panel (s) consist of plywood or OSB (Oriented Strand Board).

   According to the invention, such plates can be used as a base plate for land vehicles, in particular for rail vehicles, or for ships. They can also be used as a screed replacement in house construction.

   By combining the polyurethane core layer with plywood and / or OSB core board to form a sandwich board, particularly high vibration and sound absorption values are achieved with a particularly high static strength of the board.

   It is expedient if the core layer and the carrier plate (s) are glued together by the core layer.

   The core layer preferably consists of mixed-cell polyurethane. This gives particularly high damping values for sound and vibrations.

   It is also advantageous if at least on a surface of a carrier plate facing away from the core layer a protective coating, for example against UV radiation, fungal attack, insect attack or exposure to fire, or a surface coating, for. B. is applied with phenolic resin films. The resistance of the sandwich panel to various environmental influences can be significantly increased by one or more protective coatings combined with one another.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 the. By applying a surface coating, e.g. B. with phenolic resin films, the abrasion values can be improved.

   An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawings. 1 shows a sandwich panel according to the invention for land vehicles, in particular for rail vehicles, in a sectional representation; and FIG. 2 shows a sandwich panel for the building industry, likewise in a sectional representation.

   1, a sandwich plate 1 comprises a first carrier plate 2 and a second carrier plate 3. A core layer 4 is provided between the two carrier plates 2, 3. According to the invention, the core layer 4 consists of polyurethane and the carrier plate 2 or 3 of plywood and / or OSB.

   The plywood panels consist of at least three layers of veneer glued together, the fiber directions of which usually cross at right angles. This so-called "shut-off" largely limits the swelling and shrinking movements of the wood, which results in good dimensional stability.

   OSB (Oriented Strand Board) are synthetic resin-bonded, three-layer flat pressed panels made of oriented, scattered microfine. Debarked pine coniferous wood is mainly used. The proportion of wood in the board is around 93%. Other raw materials used in the production are paraffin wax emulsion, PUR resin in the middle layer and MUPF resin in the top layers.

   The first carrier plate 2 and the second carrier plate 3 are glued to the core layer 4 made of polyurethane to form an element.

   For the use of the sandwich panel in land vehicles, in particular in rail vehicles, it is important that the two carrier panels 2, 3 are made of plywood and / or OSB, since the panel only then obtains the desired stability. Other wood fiber boards such as B. chipboard, MDF (medium-density fiberboard) or HDF (high-density fiberboard) are unsuitable as carrier board 2,3, because with these materials

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 lien not the required stability of the base plates for rail vehicles and. Like. Can be achieved. Further requirements for such construction panels are sound and vibration absorption and a low specific weight, which is achieved through the core layer made of polyurethane.

   The best absorption behavior with regard to sound and vibrations was achieved with mixed-cell polyurethane. This material absorbs in land vehicles, such as. B. buses, and shocks and vibrations occurring on ships while driving.

   In addition to reducing vehicle noise, disturbing vibrations and shocks, the sandwich panel also has a lower density than a plywood panel with a comparable load-bearing capacity. By changing the polyurethane (elastomer) composition or the structure or cell size, the specific weight of the core layer 4 can be changed from 150 kg / m3 to approx. 900 kg / m3.

   FIG. 2 shows a variant of the sandwich panel 1 in FIG. 1, the variation being seen in the edge formation. A sandwich plate 5 has a groove 7 and a tongue 8 on opposite edge regions 6 in order to connect with the sandwich plate 5, e.g. B. in house building, to be able to train large flat surfaces. With such sandwich panels 5, load-bearing floors can be implemented in dry construction, especially in the case of wooden frame construction. If sandwich panels 5 with tongue and groove are used as part of the floor structure instead of a concrete ceiling and a screed, considerably less moisture is also introduced into the building. Furthermore, the use of separate impact sound insulation can be dispensed with, since the core layer 4, as already described above, absorbs sound and vibrations.

  Vibrations from devices such as refrigerators, pumps, fans, nearby streets and highways are also absorbed. An additional advantage is in a higher one

 <Desc / Clms Page number 5>

 Thermal resistance or thermal insulation value, e.g. B. against a concrete ceiling.

   Using sandwich panels according to the invention thus ensures a faster construction, since there is no need to wait until the screed has dried out. You can start immediately with the further expansion, such as laying a floor storage or parquet.
 EMI5.1
 kung to make it more durable or resistant, a corresponding protective coating 9 can be applied to the surface of the carrier plates 2, 3. If you want to make the surface of the sandwich panel 1, 5 more mechanically resistant (stone chipping), a sheet 10 or sheet metal layer or a phenolic resin coating can be applied to the protective coating 9 or directly on the carrier plate 2, 3.

   If sandwich panels 1, 5 are required for extreme loads, several core layers 4 with carrier panels 2, 3 can alternately be joined to form multilayer sandwich panels 1 or construction panels.
