  Verbindung kreuzweise zusammengesteckter Profilei8en.

Connection of crosswise assembled profile elements.

The invention relates to a new type of securing and binding of intersecting profile bars, in particular those which are interlaced crosswise through slots, both against separation and against displacement; at which connection without obvious aids
 EMI1.1
consists in inserting round, preferably disk-shaped insert pieces into web slots centrically to the point of intersection of the completely collapsed or nested profile irons and holding them there, enclosed by all webs.

The drawing shows the application of the invention to profile irons, in particular window irons, inserted into one another in a known manner through miter slots, and shows FIGS. 1 and 2 the upper and lower part of two profile irons, which then receive transverse slots a, a 'in the longitudinal direction of the irons after the miter slots . After the two parts have been put together, a cross-shaped pocket is created into which an insert b, b 'is inserted, which causes the two parts to be firmly connected. One slot a is extended on one side, just enough to be able to introduce the insert, which completely fills the free space, from the side or at an angle.

The setting of this insert itself can be done in various ways. According to FIGS. 3 and 4, for example, a nose c is left standing and bent in the elongated slot a in such a way that it can be bent back after the insert has been inserted in order to close the insertion slot. Figures 5 and 6 show another means of holding the link.

This has an elongated approach, which is inserted into the extension of the slot a after inserting the insert under 450 and turning the approach in the direction of one web and is held in this position by caulking or the like.
 EMI1.2
with the middle ribs remaining almost entirely concealed from the eye. PATENT-A \ SPH UOH E:
 EMI1.3
Separation or displacement, characterized in that an expedient disk-shaped connecting link is inserted into a pocket formed by web slots at the intersection of the otherwise completed connection in such a way that it is limited and held in place on all sides by the profile webs.
 EMI1.4
