Zum Ausgleich axialer Schwingungen dienende Ölbremsen-Anordnung bei Gas- oder
Dampfturbinen.

Oil brake arrangement used to compensate for axial vibrations with gas or gas
Steam turbines.
In the case of steam or gas turbines, especially those that are provided with automatically acting relief devices for relieving the axial pressure, it has been shown that the axis easily vibrates in the longitudinal direction. To avoid this, oil brakes or oil cataracts are used, which act through the flow resistance of the oil.
The invention relates to such a device and aims to avoid the access of air to the oil, whereby the effect of the same is impaired: namely, is

The shaft c is designed to be resilient in such a way that its ends are articulated to a certain extent with a and f1 or b. For this reason there is also
B. disregarded if f, b, f1 and a are not exactly conaxial; because the piston b is guided centrally in d and the shaft c, even with the eccentric position of the cross-sectional circular surfaces of b and a, effects a power transmission in the direction of rotation between the two in the manner of a universal joint, the displacement of b and the influence of the oil resistances takes place both in the case of centric as well as eccentric counter-position of the parts mentioned.
Instead of oil, another liquid can be used.
