Working methods for explosion and internal combustion engines.
The subject of the invention is a working method for explosion and internal combustion engines, by means of which liquid fuels can be used considerably better than before. The invention is essentially based on the observation that when a large amount of air and oxygen are mixed with the fuel, which is necessary for complete separation of the fuel, the flammability of the mixture is reduced too much as a result of the dilution. According to the invention, the easy flammability of the fuel-air mixture is now brought about despite the dilution that a small amount of free hydrogen is added to the fuel.
It is known in and of itself to use hydrogen alone or in conjunction with other fuels as a working medium; The increase in the energy value of the charge due to the hydrogen is only of secondary importance in the present case, especially since the latter is always only an admixture of a very small amount of hydrogen in relation to the main fuel. Rather, only the effectiveness of hydrogen as a means of increasing the flammability of the fuel when it is diluted by supplying large amounts of air is significant.
This effect of the hydrogen can be explained by the fact that the hydrogen, which is finely distributed in the fuel, longs like lightning! ! connects with the oxygen through the whole mixture (since no energy is required to dissociate compounds, as is the case with the connection of the hydrocarbon atoms with the oxygen atoms) and the hydrogen combustion, which takes place almost simultaneously in the whole mass, causes the hydrocarbons to ignite much more quickly and easily , as a relatively slow, direct ignition of the hydrocarbon particles from a single ignition point. The
Effect can also be based on catalysis or other unknown phenomena.
EMI1.1
Hydrogen-filled Beahlter can be taken.
For supplying the special air volume). which are necessary for the procedure, suitable means are to be provided.
The method also makes liquid, flame-retardant fuels of a different type than previously usual usable for use in motor drives. But even with the usual fuels, significant additional outputs are achieved.
