Manche Vakuumkältemaschinen haben den Ubelstand, dass die abzukühlende Flüssigkeit in die Verdampfungskammer selbst eingebracht werden muss und dass daher jedesmal, wenn eine neue Flüssigkeitsmenge abzukühlen ist, eine besondere Abdichtung oder Abdichtungsvorrichtung erforderlich ist, was nicht nur kompliziert ist, sondern auch die Herstellungskosten erhöht. Die Erfindung bezweckt nun die Beseitigung dieses Cbelstandes, indem der die Flüssigkeit aufnehmende Raum von dem evakuierten Raume durch eine oder mehrere Wände getrennt wird, die eine gleichmässige feinporige Bauart aufweisen und beispielsweise aus gebranntem Ton, komprimierter Kohle oder aus einem porösen regulinischen Metall nach Art der neuerdings entdeckten Hannoverschen Porenmetalle hergestellt sind.
