Device for automatic lubrication, cooling and sealing of the cylinders, pistons and piston rods of air pumps and similar piston machines.
The invention relates to a device for automatic lubrication, cooling and sealing of the cylinders, pistons and piston rods of air pumps and other piston machines by a pump formed by the hollow piston rod and a cylinder sleeve and consists in that the lubricating fluid through a tube inserted into the piston rod and hollow radial arms traversing the interior of the piston are supplied to the piston ring space serving for sealing and are fed back from here through the piston cavity and the hollow piston rod into the cooling device.
In the drawing, the device according to the invention is shown in use with an air pump.
The piston 2, which consists of a cylindrical drilling body 8 closed by covers 3 and 4, moves in the cylinder space 1. From the sleeve 5 of the piston, with which it is pushed onto the piston rod 6, two or more spoke tubes 7 lead to the outer piston body, which is equipped with two ring flanges 9, which like the covers 3 and 4

liquid is prevented in the cylinder space. The piston rod 6, which protrudes through the cylinder, is surrounded by a sleeve 17 and, together with the piston rod extension and the disk 18 attached to it, forms a pump which is used to move the lubricating and cooling liquid, so that the liquid moves with the air pump simultaneously is set.
In order to bring about the circulation of the liquid, the following device is made: The piston rod has a bore 20 which goes into the piston up to the bores 29
