  Verfahren zum Beschweren von Seide mittels Hämatoxylin. 



   Bekanntlich hat Hämatoxylin Verwendung als Beschwerungsmittel fur Seide gefunden. 



  Man verfährt hiebei ausschliesslich in der Weise, dass die in verschiedener Weise vorbehandelte Seide auf einem heissen Bade von Hämatoxylin und Seife hantiert wird. 



   Es wurde nun gefunden, dass ein Zusatz von   wasserlöslichen Phosphaten   zu dem   Hämatoxylinbade   verschiedene Vorteile bietet, sei es bei Anwesenheit von Seife oder ohne Seife. Es lässt sich hiedurch eine wesentlich höhere Gewichtszunahme ohne sonstige Nachteile erzielen und die beschwerte Seide wird durch das vorgeschlagene Mittel fester
