Verfahren zur Herstellung von Mehrfarbenpunktrastern für die Farbenphotographie.
Das vorliegende Verfahren besteht darin, dass man mit den geeigneten Farbstoffen gefärbte Lösungen von Kolloidsnbstanzen, wie z. B. Gelatine, Dextrin oder dgl., mittels eines Gasstromes zerstäubt und die so entstehenden gefärbten Tröpfchen auf geeignete Weise in einer Flüssigkeit, in der sie unlöslich sind, auffängt. Im Gegensatz zu einem von anderer Seite vorgeschlagenen Verfahren werden hier solche Flüssigkeiten gewählt, in welchen die Tröpfchen nicht erstarren, so dass eine Emulsion entsteht. Die so erhaltenen, je in einer Grundfarbe gefärbten Emulsionen werden alsdann zu einem neutralen Grau gemischt und auf den Rasterträger aufgebracht.
Das vorstehende Verfahren zur Herstellung von Mehrfarbenpunktrastern besitzt den grossen Vorzug, dass bei demselben nicht ein solches Emulgieren einer Flüssigkeit in einer anderen stattfindet, bei welchem jede der beiden Flüssigkeiten durch die andere zerteilt wird und so die Gefahr besteht, dass nicht nur die gefärbte, zu emulgierende Flüssigkeit, sondern auch die Flüssigkeit, in der emulgiert werden soll, auf das feinste zerteilt wird
