Im Patente Nr. 40960 ist ein Verfahren zur Trennung von festen und flüssigen Fetten oder fettähnlichen Stoffen beschrieben, das darin besteht, dass man das geschmolzene Gemenge mit Wasser vermengt, dessen Temperatur nur wenig unter dem Erstarrungspunkt des Gemenges liegt, was in der Weise erfolgt, dass das warmflüssige fettartige Gemenge durch das innere Rohr, das kältere Wasser durch das äussere Rohr einer Spritzvorrichtung in einen Behälter geleitet
