Wassermesser mit rotierendem Kolben.
EMI1.1

Water knife with rotating piston.
EMI1.1
Rotary pump built water meter with ring-shaped piston. According to the invention, depressions are arranged in the bottom of the cylinder. the width of which is less than the thickness of the flesh of the ring piston, so that small foreign bodies are pushed into these recesses by the piston and the ring piston is prevented from jamming. Furthermore, according to the invention, the cylinder rests with a flange in a recess in the housing and is held in place by the housing cover. Finally, according to the invention, the counter housing is suspended in an opening in the cover of the water meter housing and fastened by means of a collar ring in such a way that the bottom of the counter housing rests tightly against the cylinder cover.
It is achieved in that the counter is completely tightly sealed from the waerraum and the cylinder becomes visible after the counter is lifted out without having to remove the housing cover itself.
In the drawing, a water knife is shown in section after the invention.
1 is the cylinder in which the annular piston 2 revolves like a rotary pump.
Holes J are provided in the bottom of the cylinder, the widths or diameters of which are smaller than the meat thickness of the ring piston.
Any foreign bodies that may have entered the cylinder are pushed into these holes by the piston. The otherwise unavoidable jamming of the annular piston by such foreign bodies is thus prevented. The width or diameter of the holes must be smaller than the thickness of the flesh of the ring piston, otherwise the water could leak through these holes, which would affect the accuracy of the water meter.
EMI1.2
housing lies tightly against the cover of the cylinder, so that a complete closure of the counter from the water area is achieved.
In addition, this device offers the advantage that all that is required to lift out the counter is the removal of the coupling ring and the cylinder becomes visible after the counter has been lifted out. without having to remove the cover 7.
