Fig. 2 and 4 are present, while those of FIGS. 3 and 5, both legs have different tip heights. However, all four tooth shapes have in common that the legs are bent at different knee heights. The wire from which the teeth are made can have any cross-section.

A uniform tooth model can be used for fitting a drum.

With each of the new tooth models described, it is sufficient to arrange only a scratch cloth made of different cotton fabrics as a fitting on the drum, while the felt or rubber pad (b in FIG. 1) that was previously required for fittings can be omitted. By arranging the rows of teeth in different ways, the most varied of groupings of the stronger and weaker teeth can be produced, which naturally also results in correspondingly different rough edges.

Figures 6 and 7 illustrate two different groupings. In both figures, the lines should represent the back of the tooth, the black dots the legs with low knees, and the small circles the legs with high knees. The tooth gaps run in the transverse direction of the scratching cloth, the teeth lie in planes perpendicular to this. In the arrangement according to FIG. 6, one tooth with a high knee changes with one in the longitudinal direction of the scratching cloth
Tooth with a low knee. In the arrangement according to FIG. 7, however, there is a row of teeth with consistently high knees next to a row of teeth in the longitudinal direction of the scratching cloth
Teeth with consistently deep knees.

     PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Scraper fitting, primarily for roughing machines, characterized in that the two straight legs of each scraper tooth protruding from the scraper cloth are bent over knee-shaped in the plane laid by the same at unequal height on the same side.
