Rough F1Jss entrance plate made of metal for sidewalks, paving, stairs, floors and the like. like
The subject of the present invention is a stepping stone for the surface of sidewalks, streets, floors, stairs and the like. Which consists of two parts, a plate made of hard metal, e.g. B. iron and on this attached strips of fully tough metal on which the foot does not slide, such as lead, zinc or the like. Is composed. The connection between the two parts must be made in such a way that the upper metal strips cannot become detached or shift to any side on the lower plate. Since the use of screws, rivets or the like. As a binder because of their ease of detachment and for other technical reasons is not advantageous, attempts have been made to press the strips on the plates in longitudinal grooves of the same.
However, this connection has the disadvantage that the lead strips expand laterally due to the load, become loose and emerge towards the German side.
These shortcomings are emphasized in the plate of the present invention in that the upper metal strips do not come to lie in longitudinal grooves, but are pressed into continuous crosses between two rows of perpendicular teeth. This connection is secured by the fact that the teeth are slightly bent against them when the strips are pressed on, or there are indentations or perforations on the plate between the teeth, into which the material of the strips penetrates when the strips are pressed.
The accompanying drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the new plate and, in fact, FIG. 1 shows a diagrammatic representation of the metal plate with metal strips that are still free, but partially already pressed in, FIG. 2 shows a section through the finished plate along line 2-22 of FIG . 1.
The plate a made of iron or similar material carries upwards several double rows of teeth a1 of any shape, which are either placed on plate a or bent out of the same material. In the latter case, there are openings a2 in the plate between two teeth a1, which can be replaced by corresponding recesses or bores when the teeth a1 are attached.
The metal strips b made of flexible, tough metals are now placed on the
Plate a pressed so that they either fill the gaps between two opposing teeth and between two adjacent teeth al each row of teeth, or they also fill in the recesses, bores or perforations a2 of plate a.
