An embroidery base consisting of a double weave.

It is known to print the embroidery pattern onto the base material. However, not all fabrics are suitable for this. A plastic effect is not achieved. Double fabrics as an embroidery base are already known, which were used to obtain embroidery holes for easy insertion of the needle. Double fabrics are also known, of which the upper one is removed in places. in order to be independent of the upper embroidery base and to be able to embroider the lower one.

The present invention forms a double fabric, the lower part of which is a canvas fabric, the threads of which protrude over the threads of the upper fabric just where it is to be embroidered. In this way, over the upper fabric, one obtains a monster surface which consists of canvas fabric.

These canvas pattern surfaces fulfill various tasks. Once they form a distortion for the embroiderer. They also switch off the basic fabric with regard to the technical embroidery stress, since one always embroidered on Kasevas fabric. Any fabric can be used as the top fabric, e.g. B. fabrics made of wool, jute, silk, etc. and of various types of binding. The respective properties of the upper fabric, which is visible next to the embroidery, no longer come into consideration with regard to the execution of the embroidery. Furthermore, these canvas pattern surfaces represent a rigid and stiffening base for the embroidery, even with the softest outer fabric, and lift the latter out plastically. This effect also persists for the finished work, while z.

   B. is lost in the well-known canvas cover by the subsequent pulling out of the threads. The relief effect is enhanced by the fact that the threads of the canvas rifle lie on the pattern surfaces above the threads of the upper fabric, i.e. not between the threads of the upper fabric.
