   Zur Herbeiführung der beschriebenen Wirkung sind mindestens zwei Ventile auf jeder Kolbenseite erforderlich ; sie ist jedoch um so kräftiger, je grösser die Zahl der Ventile und je kleiner damit der Einlassquerschnitt eines einzelnen im Verhältnis zum Gesamteinlassquerschnitt ist.
