  Condenser for chillers.

In the case of refrigeration machines, the performance required by the condenser usually makes it necessary to use several pipe coils for the refrigerant that are connected at both ends by so-called collectors. One of these collecting pieces feeds the coolant compressed by the compressor of the refrigeration machines to the various coils. In the other collecting piece, the coolant is collected from the coils after cooling and liquefaction in the condenser and returned to the evaporator.

Since these claws contribute little to the cooling effect and would block useless space in the cooling water tank of the condenser, they are located outside the condenser housing and all pipe coils are passed through the cover or the wall of the condenser towards them with both ends. so that a large number of implementing agencies come about.

In the case of condensers in steam engine systems, an essential simplification has already been made. when the condenser cover was equipped with two chambers, in one of which the inlet openings and in the other of which the outlet openings of the pipe coils open. But you have what is necessary for steam systems. made sure that no liquid could collect in the two cavities of the lid.

In contrast, according to the invention, the cavities are in the condenser cover. which are in front of the pipe coils. designed as an oil separator and oil collecting vessel or as a cold liquid collecting vessel.

This saves the need for air tanks, special liquid coolers next to the condenser, etc., which are otherwise unavoidable in smaller systems, and, particularly due to the arrangement of the condenser collecting space, unfavorable pressure fluctuations. avoided even with narrow pipelines.

The subject matter of the invention should be explained in detail using the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows t'inea condenser according to the invention with attached compressor and drive electric motor in view, partially in cross section through the cover.

Its teck-ers give the refrigeration machine a compact arrangement in which the large number of pipelines that are otherwise necessary are avoided.
