Oberflächen-Kondensationsanlage.
Fig. 1 zeigt eine Oberflächen-Kondensationsanlage, Fig. 2 in grösserem Massstab den das Entlt1ftungsorgan enthaltenden Teil der Kt1blwasserleitung.

Surface condensation system.
The present invention relates to surface condensation systems with a cooling water line under water and consists in that a venting device is provided in this line, which prevents the water column from being torn off by accumulating air, the vacuum prevailing in the condensation being used for air suction.
The subject of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a surface condensation system, Fig. 2 shows, on a larger scale, the part of the Kt1blwasserleitung containing the ventilation element.
In the illustrated embodiment, the water comes through the pipe a to the condenser head b, makes the multiple way through the cooling pipes and the head c and enters the sloping drainage pipe at d and under water at e. In order to be able to fully utilize the existing waste height according to the lifting effect, no air may collect at d during operation. This is achieved in that a float f is provided on the head c, which opens the valve h when the water level falls, i.e. when the air collects, and thus enables the air to pass through the tube 9 to the vacuum space of the condenser.
In this way, the water supply is completely secured and, in view of the high vacuum prevailing in the condenser, very large drainage heights can be made usable without the slightest operational risk.
