Centrifugal sorter for wood pulp and similar materials for @Paperfabrication.
The present invention relates to improvements in the known sorting devices for wood pulp and similar materials for paper manufacture, consisting of two centrifugal plate sorters, in which the coarser material flowing off the sieve of the first sorter is fed to the second sorter for further treatment and consists in the arrangement of radial, upright Plates on the circumference of the centrifugal plates of both sorters, as well as inclined and vertical plates running around in the inner crate channel below the centrifugal plates of the second sorter, which significantly increases the efficiency of the devices.

The box a is cylindrical in shape and has two separate, annular grooves b and c. Inside the sieve d standing in the channel c is the centrifuge, which is composed of a number of sheet metal plates e provided with central openings and stiffened by attached edges. The individual centrifugal plates e are held in their position by stud bolts and at the same time connected to the plate J in which the drive shaft 9 is attached. The invention consists in the fact that a number, in the present case four, radially protruding on the circumference of the centrifuge

The substance introduced into the sorter by the latter is distributed through the slits onto the individual plates of the rotating centrifuge and from here is thrown against the sorting machine. The \ ier plates i now have the purpose that

Use up while the coarser material, which gets along the sewer d into the inner channel c, is passed by means of a water rinse through the ('annal /; into the second sorter (Figs. 3 and 4). The latter shows the same construction as the one described.
Apart from the plates i, however, underneath the bicuder plates c there are inclined and upright plates o and p

flung while the remaining material is brought from the somewhat lower vertical plate p to the outflow canal.
