Arrangement to protect the shut-off valves in the steam lines for heating dye or other caustic liquids against the ingress of liquors and liquor vapors into the valve seats.

An arrangement for protecting the shut-off valves in the steam lines for heating dye liquors and other caustic liquids against the ingress of liquors and liquor vapors into the valve seats is protected by the parent patent no. 67795, characterized in that between the liquor container and the known per se Way with a steam shut-off valve provided with a pressure equalization valve, a spiral pipe is switched into the steam line, in which the condensation water collects and the liquor vapors are deposited.

The subject of the present invention is now a further embodiment of this device with the basic idea that, in order to achieve the intended purpose, instead of the above-mentioned spiral pipe, which allows the inflow of heating steam to the container, on the other hand, prevents the backflow of corrosive liquid or corrosive vapors to the shut-off valve, a liquid seal of any kind can be used and that furthermore the pressure compensation element, which enables the automatic entry of air into the pipeline between the shut-off valve and the liquid container, if the heating steam remaining in the pipeline is deposited after the shut-off valve is closed and an air void is created,

does not necessarily have to be structurally combined with the shut-off valve, but can be arranged at any point on the pipeline.

The replacement of the pipe spiral according to the parent patent by any liquid connection and the structural separation of the shut-off valve and pressure equalization element result, as is easy to see, with a corresponding design and
