  Regal.

Fig. 2 im Blick von der Seite.

Fig. 3,4 und 5 zeigen die Herstellung der Regalleisten.

  Shelf.

The invention relates to shelf arrangements in which horizontal floors are mounted on vertical uprights held together by horizontal shelf strips. The production of the horizontal shelf strips in a simple form and of low weight in such a way that they give the floors a good and secure support and, due to the strength of their connection with the stands, offer a high load capacity, is particularly very difficult if the shelf in its size ratios should be able to be changed in a simple and quick manner and without special tools.

According to the invention, each shelf bar now consists of two essentially equally long pieces of bandois, which are perforated in three places in such a way that, after one end of each piece of band iron has been bent in a U-shape by two wedges, screw bolts or the like, they become one clamped to the vertical uprights , rigid, double bar can be united.

With a very low weight, these shelf strips have a very wide support for the floors and a good connection with the uprights, which can be easily released by knocking out the wedges. They can be made ready for use on the spot by punching and bending the straps, but they can also be shortened as required by cutting off the straight ends and punching again. Likewise, by knocking open or hammering in the wedges and the then possible displacement of the strips, the distance between the supported horizontal floors can be easily changed. Since the stand can also be changed very easily in length by plugging together short pieces in a known manner without special tools, the shelf bar offers the possibility of changing the size of a shelf without special tools.

As such, a shelf bar can be made from strip iron in a wide variety of ways. When the ends of the iron band are designed as ordinary pipe clamps, it is difficult to shorten the strips even if two iron bands with clamps at the end are connected in the middle, e.g. B. are screwed. In addition, in this given embodiment, it is difficult to produce two strip bars running parallel to one another.

These bars, which run next to one another, not only make the use of iron straps possible in the first place by stiffening and enlarging the bar support, but also offering the possibility of defining the horizontal floor adjacent to them with simple centers due to the space between the bars.

   The drawing illustrated in
Fig. L the shelf arrangement in a view from above and in
Fig. 2 viewed from the side.

3, 4 and 5 show the production of the shelf strips.

In the drawing are a, b. c, d are the vertical uprights advantageously made of pipe, e and f are two horizontal shelves and g the horizontal shelf strips that connect the tubular uprights to one another and intercept the floors.

These shelf strips consist according to FIGS. 3, 4 and 5 of two iron straps, which are perforated in three places according to FIG. 3 and bent over in a U-shape at the end according to FIG. 4 and finally, as FIG. 5 shows, folded into an oval and passed through crossed kei! e A and? are combined into a double bar. The holes in the shelf strips are drilled in such a way that when the wedges are hammered in, the shelf strip parts are not only connected to one another, but also the double strips come together on the uprights.

Instead of wedges, screw bolts or the like can of course also be used analogously.
