Bei Kochgeschirren, insbesondere Aluminiumkochgeschirred besteht der Übelstand, dass die meist durch Nieten befestigten Handhaben (Griffe, Stiele, Henkel) zufolge der Dünnwandigkeit und Weichheit des Bleches sich sehr leicht lockern und Undichtbeiten verursacht werden, was schliesslich das vollkommene Ausreissen und Ablösen des Griffes zur Folge hat.
Gemäss der Erfindung sind in äusserst einfacher Weise Vorkehrungen getroffen, um die Befestigungsstelle der Handhabe derart zu entlasten, dass die Beanspruchungen des Griffes nicht schädlich auf dessen Befestigungsstelle übertragen werden können. Erreicht wird dies durch eine besondere Ausgestaltung des Gri1fanschlussendes, welch letzteres mit rinnenförmigem Rand unter den Wulst oder Bord des Topfrandes greift und dadurch an diesem Abstützung findet
