The mode of operation is the simplest imaginable in the present subject matter of the invention.
If the support plate is to be removed for any reason, the easiest way to use 90 is to use a screwdriver, which is inserted between the brake body 1 and the mounting device 6 at the recess 15, which then causes the two tab-like projections to be snapped off from the balls 14 relevant support plate can be removed without any difficulty. If this tool is not available, the support plate can be lifted off either by pressure with the thumb or by striking against it with any object. Inserting the sheets is also done in the simplest way.
First, insert the pin 7 into the opening 5 and press the support plate against the brake shoe body 1 until the two flap-like bends with the bores provided in them snap into place via the balls 14. The friction that occurs during braking and acting in the direction of the circumference presses the bend 8 against the bend 9 of the brake shoe body on the upper half of the AtiilageMeeh and the blunt end provided with pin 7 against the upper leg S of the brake shoe bearing 2 on the lower support plate half so that no shift can take place in this direction either.
