Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Concrete container.

   The use of concrete containers, the inside of which are lined with glass, porcelain, glazed majolica or stoneware, pitch, asphalt-like plates, is known.

   Finally, containers have become known which are composed of individual acid-resistant stone slabs and sealed by means of iron bracing.

     The present invention consists in that instead of these known types of cladding, the inner surfaces of the concrete containers are lined with slates of slate. These are firmly bonded to the container walls with cement or similar heat-resistant binding agents.
 EMI1.1
   Use slate panels xu so that only a few joints arise.

   Containers lined in this way can withstand high levels of heat, since the concrete container and the slate have approximately the same expansion coefficient, are very resistant to acids and alkalis, do not affect the content in terms of smell or taste and are also extremely resistant to mechanical damage. In addition, the inner surfaces produced in this way can be easily cleaned.

    PATENT CLAIMS: I. Betonbehälz, characterized in that its inner walls are lined with slates.
