Gasschutzmaske.

Gas mask.
Gas protective masks made from a wide variety of materials are known. In all of them, the mask body exposed from the face is provided with a special sealing frame by sewing, gluing or otherwise connecting both parts. Sometimes the Mas; the end edge also only lined with a strip of tape or padding.
However, every connection of two parts, especially in the case of the gas mask, presents a certain source of danger or uncertainty with regard to the gas tightness, since mechanical stress must be expected in all parts of the mask during use and when it is repeatedly packed in the ready-to-use container.
The invention is intended to eliminate this disadvantage in that the mask body and frame consist of a single coherent piece, regardless of whether the mask

a pliable material is used, e.g. B. fabric, mesh, felt, leather, plastic made of cellulose or the like.
In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows an example of an embodiment of the gas protective mask seen from the front. FIG. 2 shows a cross section seen from the side. The mask body a is, as can be seen, folded over at the edge and the edge b is shaped by pressing or by incisions and transverse seams in such a way that it closes gas-tight when placed on the face. To change the shape of the mask. z. In order to prevent e.g. thin material, the breaking edge can be provided with a at a certain distance \ c'm the edge. Furthermore, the bent edge part can be provided with an insert uuer a cushion c.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Gas protective mask, characterized in that the mask body exposed from the face and the sealing edge resting on the face consist of a coherent piece and the sealing edge is turned inward.
