Lamellenkühler filr Verbrennungskraftmaschinen.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kühler für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen, bei dem in bekannter Weise zwischen den lotrechten Wasserkanälen eine grosse Anzahl Wärmeableiter angebracht ist, die den Zweck haben, die Wärme des Wasseis aufzunehmen und sie an die durchstreichende Luft wieder abzuführen. Diese bekannten WÅarmeableiter bilden stets durchgehende wagereehte Luftkanäle.
Nach der Erfindung besteht jeder Wärmeableiter aus einer Blechplatte, aus der prismatische Teile abwechselnd nach links und rechts ausgepresst sind. Die dadurch entstehenden wagerechten Luftkanäle sind daher keine durchgehenden, sondern mehrfach unterbrochene Kanäle. Dadurch stehen alle übereinander liegenden Luftkanäle untereinander in Verbindung, so dass die durchstreichende Luft Wirbel bildet, wodurch die Kühlwirkung erhöht wird. Gegenüber den bekannten Kühlem mit durchgehender Luftkanälen wird auch an Material gespart, so dass das Gewicht des Kühlers verringert wird.
Fig. 1 zeigt schaubildlich den Wärmeableiter, Fig. 2 seine Voideransicht, Fig. 3 die Draufsicht.
Aus der Blechplatte d-sind abwechselnd nach links die Prismen e, P, ei, nach rechts die Prismen e2, F1, e3 ausgepresst. Die Flächen Fund F2 kommen an den benachbarten lotrechten Wasseikanälen zum Anliegen und entziehen diesen die Wärme. Die Wärmeableiter dienen auch in bekannter Weise zur Versteifung des Kühlers. Der gitterförmige Wätmeableiter hildet keine durchgehenden, sondern unterbrochene wagerechte Kanäle 9 und H, so dass die hindurchstreichende Luft aus einem Kanal in den andern übertreten kann und dadur4 ! h Wirbelungen bildet.

The invention relates to a cooler for internal combustion engines, in which a large number of heat sinks are attached in a known manner between the vertical water channels, the purpose of which is to absorb the heat of the water ice and to dissipate it again to the air flowing through. These well-known heat sinks always form continuous horizontal air ducts.
According to the invention, each heat sink consists of a sheet metal plate from which the prismatic parts are pressed alternately to the left and right. The resulting horizontal air channels are therefore not continuous, but multiple interrupted channels. As a result, all air ducts lying one above the other are connected to one another, so that the air passing through forms vortices, which increases the cooling effect. Compared to the known coolers with continuous air ducts, material is also saved, so that the weight of the cooler is reduced.
Fig. 1 shows a diagrammatic view of the heat sink, Fig. 2 shows its void view, Fig. 3 shows the plan view.
The prisms e, P, ei are pressed alternately to the left and the prisms e2, F1, e3 to the right. The surfaces Fund F2 come into contact with the adjacent vertical water channels and remove the heat from them. The heat sinks also serve to stiffen the radiator in a known manner. The grid-shaped heat dissipator does not form continuous, but interrupted horizontal ducts 9 and H, so that the air passing through can pass from one duct to the other and there you go! h forms eddies.
