Flüssigkeitsgefäss mit Ausgusslippe.
EMI1.1

Liquid container with pouring lip.
EMI1.1
When using such vessels. as these have hitherto been brought on the market, the removal of liquid is usually carried out in the manner that in the upper part
A hole is drilled in parts of the vessel, unless the vessel is provided with a pouring opening closed by a lid or stopper; In both cases, however, a greater or lesser amount of liquid is lost, in that when it is poured out of the inclined vessel, the liquid seeps along the outer walls of the vessel.
The purpose of the invention is to prevent those losses by a simple and cheap means.
The invention consists in that the vessel is provided with a pouring lip at a suitable point on the vessel wall, which is displaceably arranged in such a way that it adjoins the vessel wall for protection when not in use and protrudes over it when in use to guide the outflowing liquid serve.
The drawing illustrates the invention.
The pouring lip 6 is bent in such a way that it nestles exactly around the vertical corner edge of the vessel. It is slidably attached to the vessel by means of a corresponding guide 7. When not in use, the lip 6 is level with or slightly below the upper edge of the vessel, as shown in full lines. When the lip is to act, it is advanced over the edge of the vessel, as indicated in dotted lines, so that the lip forms a guide for the liquid.
The lip 6 can be provided with a projection 8 to facilitate its handling.
