   Lässt man solche Funkenstrecken, wie dies sich fast stets, schon aus Gründen der
Schalldämpfung, empfiehlt, in einem geschlossenen Gefäss arbeiten, so entstehen, wenn sie von Luft oder einem anderen, chemischen Veränderungen durch den Funken unterliegenden
