   Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt eine Verbesserung des Tones und der Klangfarbe von Streichinstrumenten durch eine spezielle Ausbildung des Steges und der Stimme. 



   In der Zeichnung ist die Ausführungsform des Steges in Fig. i, die der Stimme in Fig. 2 veranschaulicht. Gemäss der Erfindung ist der Steg unter jeder der vier Saiten mit je einem   kreisförmigen   Ausschnitt A, die Basis der Füsse mit je einem halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt B versehen. Diese Ausschnitte, am Stege rufen bei gleicher Stärke des Holzes eine grössere Elastizität derselben hervor. Die beiden Füsse des Steges sind durch eine bandförmige dünne Leiste C verbunden, welche beim Spannen der Saiten selbst in Spannung versetzt wird und wie eine fünfte Saite an den Schwingungen teilnimmt.'
Die Stimme ist an den beiden Enden D kugelförmig ausgebildet, was ein leichteres und   genaueres-Anpassen   an die Resonnanztafeln ermöglicht.

   Zwecks Erhöhung der Elastizität der Stimme ist sie mit einer von oberen zum unteren Ende spiralförmig verlaufenden Nut E versehen. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i. Steg für Geigen und ähnliche   Streichinstrumente, dadurch   gekennzeichnet, dass derselbe unterhalb der vier Saiten mit je einem kreisrunden Ausschnitt und an der Basis der Füsse mit je einem halbkreisförmigen Ausschnitt versehen ist und die beiden Füsse des Steges durch eine bandförmige dünne Leiste verbunden sind.

   The present invention aims to improve the tone and timbre of string instruments through a special design of the bridge and the voice.



   The drawing shows the embodiment of the bridge in FIG. 1, which illustrates the voice in FIG. According to the invention, the bridge under each of the four strings is provided with a circular cutout A, and the base of the feet is provided with a semicircular cutout B each. These cutouts on the webs cause the wood to be more elastic with the same thickness. The two feet of the bridge are connected by a ribbon-shaped thin bar C, which is put into tension when the strings are tensioned and takes part in the vibrations like a fifth string. '
The voice is designed spherically at the two ends D, which enables easier and more precise adaptation to the resonance tables.

   In order to increase the elasticity of the voice, it is provided with a groove E running in a spiral shape from the top to the bottom.



   PATENT CLAIMS: i. Bridge for violins and similar string instruments, characterized in that the same is provided below the four strings with a circular cutout each and a semicircular cutout at the base of the feet and the two feet of the bridge are connected by a ribbon-shaped thin strip.
