Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Pessar, das die Vorzüge des Gummis und des Metalles in sich birgt, elastisch und schmiegsam wie Gummi, rein, sauber, dauerhaft und geruchlos wie Metall ist.

Fig. 2 stellt den Rand 2 des Pessars dar, welcher bis zur Platte 1 durch einen geraden Einschnitt 3 durchtrennt ist. Dieser Einschnitt 3 kann auch schräg geführt sein. wie Fig. 3 bei 4 aufweist.
Fig. 4 stellt die letzte Ausführungsart dar. Durch die angeführten Einschnitte wird das Pessar elastisch. Die Elastizität lässt sich auch durch teilweise Entfernung des Randes 2 erzielen, wobei der Ausschnitt 5 durch Gummi oder Weichmetall 6 ausgefüllt bzw. ergänzt wird.
Die Ausführung des Pessars ermöglicht es, dieses so zu deformieren, dass ein leichtes und schmerzloses Einführen und Entfernen ermöglicht wird, wobei das Pessar den Vorteil des Nichtoxydiertwerdens hat, dauerhaft, schmiegsam, geruchlos ist und durch Auskochen desinfiziert werden kann.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i. Pessar, das aus einer dünnen, biegsamen Platte (1) aus Metall, Zelluloid und dgl. besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dessen Rand (2) durch mehrere gerade (3) oder schräge (4) Schnitte geteilt ist, so dass eine-entsprechende Elastizität entsteht.
