  Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum elektrischen Schweissen von Metallschläuchen. 



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum elektrischen Schweissen von Metallschläuchen, wobei der Schlauch beliebig lang'sein kann. Das Verfahren besteht darin, dass die zu verbindenden, in bekannter Weise   nanschenförmig   aufgebogenen Ränder des Profilstreifen zwischen zwei rollenförmig ausgebildeten Elektroden hindurchgeführt werden, während gleichzeitig in axialer Richtung ein Druck ausgeübt wird, der das Zusammenschweissen bewirkt. Die Vorrichtung kann aus einer am Aussenumfang der zusammenzuschweissenden Ränder laufenden und einer am Innenumfang der Ränder laufenden Rollenelektrode bestehen, deren Träger der Erfindung gemäss an einem Arm angeordnet ist, der zwischen den vor der Schweissstelle befindlichen, noch unverschweissten Windungen hindurch von aussen in den Schlauch ragt.

   Das Zusammenpressen in axialer Richtung. besorgen in diesem Falle besondere Druckrollen. Die Schweissvorrichtung kann aber auch aus zwei ausserhalb des Schlauches angeordneten, mit ihren abgeschrägten Umfangsflächen sowohl die Stromzuführung als auch das mechanische Zusammenpressen bewirkenden Rollenelektroden bestehen, welche derart schräg zueinander angeordnet sind, dass ihre Erzeugenden an der Einklemmstelle parallel zu den zu verschweissenden,   flanschenförmig   aufgebogenen Rändern der Profilstreifen sind. 



   Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht in den Fig. i und 2 verschiedene Ausführungsformen einer elektrischen Schweissvorrichtung in schematischer Darstellung. 



   Die aus Fig.   x   ersichtliche Vorrichtung besteht aus einer Rollenelektrode 1, die mittels eines Zapfens 2 auf einem Rollenträger 3 drehbar gelagert ist, dessen flacher Arm   4   zwischen den noch nicht miteinander verbundenen Windungen 5 des Metallschlauches hindurch in das Innere desselben ragt. Die. zweite Rollenelektrode 6 befindet sich an der Aussenseite des Metallschlauches. Die miteinander zu vereinigenden, flanschenartig   aufgebördelten   Ränder 7 des Profilstreifens werden mittels Druckrollen 8 gegeneinandergepresst. 



   Bei der in Fig. 2 dargestellten Ausführungsform der Vorrichtung sind zwei schräg an-

 entsprechend kegelförmig gestaltet sind, um längs zweier parallelen Erzeugenden dieser Kegelflächen die zu verschweissenden, flanschenartig aufgebogenen Ränder 7 einklemmen zu können. 



   PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
I. Verfahren zum elektrischen Schweissen von Metallschläuchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die aneinanderstossenden, flanschenartig aufgebogenen Ränder zweier benachbarter Windungen des Profilstreifen zwischen zwei Rollenelektroden durchgezogen werden.
