Dach für-Kleinbauten.

Roof for small buildings.
In the manufacture of small buildings, the manufacture of the roof primarily influences the construction costs, especially if the construction is otherwise made from cheap building materials such as clay or the like.
The invention has the purpose of creating an inexpensive replacement for the usual roof trusses. It relates to a roof for small buildings, which consists of an embankment made of clay or the like that is applied to the ceiling, the slope of which corresponds to the pitch of the roof and which is protected from the weather by a skin made of cement.
FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing show cross-sections and longitudinal sections of the construction with the roof constructed in accordance with the invention. a are round timbers placed directly next to each other on the load-bearing walls, which are provided with board cladding on the underside and possibly also on the top. Earth or clay b is poured onto this cover and smoothed at the appropriate angle of slope. If soil is used, the embankment is covered with a layer of clay c about 10 cm thick. In all cases, the top layer is rubbed in with cement and then coated with tar.
The roof according to the invention offers good thermal insulation and has almost the same durability as cement roofs.
