Hand-Kinoapparat.

Hand held cinema camera.
The subject of the present invention is a hand-held cinema apparatus in which the actuation does not take place, as is usual, by means of many translations, but a particularly large transport disk a1 is used. On this the pins are arranged, which operate the Bol Maltese cross and the transport drum b2 seated on the same axis 11. The number of pins of the transport disk, in which any gear transmission can be omitted, is four to ten as the extreme limit, but most advantageously six, seven or eight pins. If there are fewer or more pens, translations would have to be used, since then the toothed film drum a2 would have to be correspondingly larger or smaller.
A comparison shows that:
8 pins the circumference of the feed and discharge drum a2 32 teeth is 6 1) 3; 23 24 31 4 # # # # # # # I6 # #

for feeding and discharging the film I6 teeth. Four pins would therefore no longer be sufficient, and the fewer pins the shaft I would have to make the more revolutions, so that such an apparatus could no longer be operated by hand without translation. It is well known that one type of apparatus has two pens, but the purpose is different from eliminating the need for translations.
These devices are intended as "small cinema devices", have a specially designed half-watt lamp as a source of illumination, which prevents a film fire and are particularly suitable for home, school and village cinemas.
