Circuit for subscriber sets in telephone networks with central battery operation.

In telephone systems according to the central battery system. the final signal is usually given by the subscriber by operating the hook switch, i.e. by breaking the loop, which initiates the processes required to disconnect the connection in the control center.
 EMI1.1
due to the fact that the ohmic resistance of the microphone can take on very high values. The weakening of the loop current caused by this then triggers the same effect as its complete interruption by the hook switch.

This inconvenience, which is particularly uncomfortable in telephone systems after a self-connection system, has been remedied by connecting a choke coil in parallel with the microphone, the resistance of which was such that even a complete interruption of the microphone had no disturbing effect.

Of course, this means both the space requirement and the cost of the apparatus increased significantly.

Avoiding these disadvantages forms the subject of the present invention. After this, instead of a separate choke coil, the alarm clock that is already in the device and is not used while speaking is switched in parallel to the microphone. Since it has a significant self-induction and an ohmic resistance that is not too great, it is suitable for the intended purpose without further ado and thus makes the use of its own choke coil unnecessary.
 EMI1.2
 elements 1 to 9.

A simplified circuit based on the same principle is shown in FIG. 2, in which five contact elements are sufficient.

In both circuits, in the speaking position (Fig. Ia and II a), the alarm clock is connected in parallel to the microphone.

PATENT CLAIMS: I. Circuit for telephone sets according to the central battery system, in which the same resistors are connected in parallel to avoid harmful interruptions of the loop current through the microphone, characterized in that the existing alarm clock is connected in parallel to the microphone while speaking to achieve the above-mentioned purpose.
