Maschinenpauke.
Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Maschinenpauke, bei welcher die Stimmungsspindel zentral durch die Mitte des Felles geführt ist, der Kessel die Form eines Pyramidenstutzens hat, wodurch eine grössere Raumausnutzung und handlichere Bedienung bei Verwendung mehrerer Pauken und eine Veredlung des Tones erzielt wird.
In der Zeichnung ist eine derartige Pauke in Längsschnitt in Fig. i und einer teilweisen Draufsicht mit Hinwegnahme des Felles in Fig. 2 gezeigt.
Der Kessel k ist erfindungsgemäss ein aus sechs geraden, konisch zugeschnittenen, IO mm starken, gezinkten Hartholzwänden und einem horizontalen, 30 mm starken Boden n bestehender Pyramidenstumpf ; er trägt den mit sechs Schliesshölzern e gehaltenen, kreisrunden Reifen p. Jedes der sechs Schliesshölzer ist zwecks Durchlasses je einer Zugstange d länglich geschlitzt, zu gleichem Zwecke auch der Kesselboden n, der in seiner Mitte die Stimmspindel durchlässt, deren Mutter k in dem am Kesselboden verschraubten Holzstück q lagert. Die Stimmspindel steht inmitten des Kessels ; ihr unteres (gewindeloses) Ende steckt im Halse r der Sammelplatte j, in dessen Bohrung beim Spannen des Felles a die Spindel sich frei dreht.
Die zum Zwecke senkrechten Laufes vom unteren Stimmspindelende geführte Sammelplatte nimmt in ihren sechs Bohrungen die sechs Zugstangen und deren sechs Muttern e auf. Der obere (verjüngte) Teil der Stimmspindel ist durch die Führung m gegen seitliches Ausbiegen gesichert. Die durch die sechs Fellreifklammern c durchgesteckten Zugstangen laufen vom Fellreif b durch den Kessel und dessen Boden in die Sammelplatte.
Das Fell a ist zwecks Durchlassen der Stimmspindel in seiner Mitte kreisrund ausgestanzt.
Das obere Stimmspindelende trägt den Handgriff i. Wird die Stimmspindel betätigt, drückt sie die Sammelplatte und den mit ihr mittels Zugstangen und Klammern verbundenen Fellreif tiefer, das Fell wird über den Reifen p gespannt.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i. Maschinenpauke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mit einem Handgriff versehene Stimmspindel zentral durch ein Loch in der Mitte des Paukenfelles geführt ist, wodurch einerseits eine handlichere Bedienung bei einer Mehrzahl von Maschinenpauken erreicht wird, andrerseits infolge der Lochung des Paukenfelles eine Veredlung des Tones eintritt.

According to the invention, the boiler k is a truncated pyramid consisting of six straight, conically cut, 10 mm thick, jointed hardwood walls and a horizontal, 30 mm thick base n; he wears the circular hoop p held by six cleats e. Each of the six locking sticks is elongated for the purpose of passage of a tie rod d, for the same purpose also the bowl bottom n, which lets through the tuning spindle in its center, the nut k of which is stored in the piece of wood q screwed to the bowl bottom. The tuning spindle is in the middle of the cup; its lower (threadless) end is in the neck r of the collecting plate j, in whose hole the spindle rotates freely when the skin a is tensioned.
The collecting plate, which is guided by the lower end of the tuning spindle for the purpose of running vertically, receives the six tie rods and their six nuts e in its six bores. The upper (tapered) part of the tuning spindle is secured against lateral bending by the guide m. The pull rods inserted through the six fur hoop clips c run from fur hoop b through the boiler and its bottom into the collecting plate.
