Fertilizer spreader with rotating floor and brush roller.
EMI1.1
roller is provided on the circumference with staggered rows of flat edge cutouts, which directly adjoin one another, so that the cross section of each cutout row of the roller corresponds to that of a polygon. By designing the bottom roller in this way, it is achieved on the one hand that the rotating brush is effective against completely flat surfaces on which fertilizer cannot settle.
In the drawing the improved machine is shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a cross-section through the bottom roller, Fig. 2 shows a partial top view of the same and Fig. 3 shows a partial longitudinal section along the line A-B of Fig. I.
According to the invention, the roller a is provided on the circumference with flat edge cutouts b arranged in rows and offset to one another, which directly adjoin one another so that the cross section of each cutout row of the roller corresponds to that of a polygon (FIG. I). Since each cutout b forms a flat surface, the fertilizer cannot settle on it, so that the brush c is able to sweep the fertilizer picked up by the cutouts b clean and completely out of the cutouts in every mixture.
The lower part of the wall of the litter box, which sits on the bottom roller, is designed to form a flap d. which is movable around joints e. The flap makes it possible to easily remove the fertilizer that remains in the litter box after the end of spreading.
In addition to the rotating brush roller c, a straight scraper brush i is provided on the litter box, which is attached to the lower edge of the body j. Between the brushes c and i, behind the brush i, there is a flap f which can rotate around a pin g and is pressed against the brush i by a spring h. However, the details do not form the subject of the invention.
The brush c always brushes approximately the same amounts from the cutouts b of the roller a
