   Nach dem Stammpatente Nr. 76033 ist die Anlassvorrichtung eines Steuerumformers, der in Leonardschaltung einen Arbeitsmotor speist, mit dessen Manövrierbremshebel so verbunden, dass nach Festziehen der Bremse des Arbeitsmotors der Umformer zum Zwecke der Energieersparnis stillgesetzt wird, Eine Verbesserung dieser Einrichtung wird durch die Erfindung dadurch erzielt, dass insbesondere bei Schwungradumformern die Anlassvorrichtung nur soweit betätigt wird, dass der Umformer bei festgezogener Bremse auf verringerte Touren eingestellt wird. Dadurch wird an Energie gespart, die aufgewendet werden müsste, wenn die Schwungmassen stillgesetzt und dann wieder in Gang gebracht werden müssten. 



  Die Einstellung auf verringerte Tourenzahl geschieht beispielsweise durch Verstärkung der Erregung, wenn der Umformer von einem Gleichstrommotor angetrieben wird, oder durch entsprechende Verschiebung der Bürsten, falls der Antriebsmotor des Umformers ein Wechselstrom-Kollektormotor ist. 



   Eine weitere Ausgestaltung der Erfindung besteht darin, dass auch die Erregermaschine vom Manövrierbremshebel aus so geregelt wird, dass nach Anziehen der Bremse die in den Erregerstromkreisen gebrauchte Energie verringert wird, beispielsweise durch Abschalten des Erregerumformers oder Spannungslosmachen der Erregermaschine durch Unterbrechung ihres Erregerstromkreises.
