Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
So z.

Process for the production of patterned paper and other non-woven fabrics.
The parent patent assumes that the paper is first moistened and then crumpled, after which the wax is thrown! h Heat, i.e. hot ironing, removed.
It has been found that these measures can be improved: So you can do without moistening the paper, which is especially valuable if the paper is very thin and there is a risk that it will tear more easily due to the moistening .
The removal of the wax mass can also be done by other means than by heat, e.g. B. mechanically by rubbing or chemically, for example by using wax-dissolving substances. This means that the paper or the fabric provided with the pattern can suffer from the application of heat. So z. For example, the wax coating often creates margins that cannot be removed during subsequent heat treatment, which naturally affects the appearance of the end product. But if you apply z. B. wax dissolving agents, these defects do not occur.
It has finally been shown that the process is not only suitable for use on paper, but also for all woven fabrics.
When the parent patent mentions that all types of wax can be used, it has recently been established that any other body can be considered that refuses to accept the color to be applied.
