EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The subject of the invention is a locking device for electric incandescent lamps, in which the lamp is secured in the socket by a cylindrical pin bolt, which in its outer shape simulates a screw. The locking pin is inserted into a hole provided on the insulating ring of the socket and engages with its cylindrical, tapered end through the threaded basket of the socket into the bulb base, thus locking it against unscrewing.
The drawing shows the locking device attached to an incandescent lamp socket in partial longitudinal sections. Serving as a locking member, cylindrically arranged in a bore of the insulating ring b pin c is at its end g to about. tapered to half its diameter. The head of the pin thus formed prevents the pin from being inserted too far into the bulb socket f.
On its end face h, the head of the pin is provided with the incision i of an ordinary screw, which opens into the hole d drilled across the pin. Unscrewing the light bulb from the threaded basket e of the socket a can of course only be done after removing the locking pin. By pretending. A screwdriver will be used to attempt to remove the bulb from a vision hood. The pin can be rotated, but its axial position cannot be changed.
For the purpose of unlocking a key c is inserted into the incision i of the bolt c and rotated by about 900, so that the disc-shaped beard 1 of the key is in the clearance of the hole d within the incision across the latter and thereby pulling out the bolt pin or enables the lamp to be uncoupled.
