Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Rohre, die aus längeren oder kürzeren hölzernen Platten, bekannt unter den Namen Bretter, Laden, Pfosten usw. geschnitten aus irgendeiner bekannten Holzgattung, in bekannter aber für Rohre ungewöhnlicher Form von regel-oder unregelmässigen Vier-oder Vielecken zusammengesetzt werden. Die Fugen der Rohre werden zweckmässig mit bekannten, im Tiockenen oder Nassen erhärtenden Dichtungsmitteln, wie Harz, Pech, Kolophonium, Teer, Asphalt, Mennigekitt od. dgl. oder deren Gemisch in kaltem oder heissem Zustand abgedichtet. Die Platten werden mit bekannten hölzernen, eisernen oder aus sonstigem Material bestehenden Nägeln, Schrauben, Klammem od. dgl. miteinander verbunden.
Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass diese-Bretter od. dgl. an den Ecken über den eigentlichen. Viel- eckskörper hervorragen und dieser Vorsprung mit einer Anschlagleiste versehen ist.
In den Figuren ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt, u. zw. in Fig. 1 ein Element des Rohres im Querschnitt und in Fig. 2 das vollständige Rohr, ebenfalls im Querschnitt.
Die Platte-4 vereinigt mit der Anschlagleiste B bilden das normale Element des ganzen Rohres.
Durch Verbindung solcher Elemente wird der vieleckige Rohrkörper gebildet.
Die Hölzer können unter Umständen zur besseren Erhaltung nach bekannten Verfahren und mit bekannten Mitteln imprägniert werden. Schliesslich werden die Rohre, um sie gegen den Innendruck widerstandsfähig zu machen, in bekannter Weise mit Draht, Bändern od. dgl., aus Eisen, Stahl, Iridium oder sonstigen Metallen, welche auf starken Zug beansprucht werden können, schraubenförmig oder kreisrund, einfach oder gekreuzt, umschnürt, in Erde oder anderes Material gebettet, frei aufgehängt oder gestützt in Verwendung genommen.
Die Vorteile des Anmeldungsgegenstandes bestehen u. a. in der Verstärkung und Fixierung der Verbindung der Platten sowie in der Verbesserung der Dichtung durch die mit den beiden Platten zu verbindende Anschlagleiste.
Die Verbindung der Rohre untereinander geschieht in bekannter Weise durch Überplattung der geraden, stumpfen oder schiefen Stösse, wofür dieses System besonders geeignet ist.

The joints of the pipes are expediently sealed with known sealants that harden in the cold or wet, such as resin, pitch, rosin, tar, asphalt, red lead putty or the like, or a mixture of these in cold or hot state.
