As with the usual telegraphic circuits, in addition to the end offices, intermediate offices can also be switched on on the same line. These intermediate exchanges, which receive all the characters sent out by the transmitting station, can be switched on in a shunt between the line wire and earth (FIG. 1) or in series with the line wire (FIG. 3). In the latter case, the primary circuit of a transformer can be connected in the line wire, in whose secondary circuit the apparatus of the office (Fig. 4) are then connected.

The transmission current sent by an office sets the armature of the polarized relay of the other offices in oscillation and these oscillations are used to intermittently close or open the circuit of a local battery, which controls the operation of the telegraph apparatus with or without the help of a second relay .

Fig. 5 shows the complete diagram of the connections of a telegraph office in which the writing apparatus A located in the local circuit of the battery P2 is subordinated by the polarized relay jssi

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for preventing interference in telegraph lines with earth return lines through neighboring AC power lines when using high-frequency alternating current as telegraph currents, characterized in that a large self-induction and a small capacitance are switched on in the telegraph line, which are in resonance for the telegraph current of high frequency.

Claims (1)

EMI2.3 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the lead wire is connected to earth at one or more points by such a large self-induction that it only allows the passage of low-frequency interference currents.
