Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Consumption of only 124,850 calories, so that the possibility of a heat saving of around 47% appears to be given. Since with this process all boiling takes place under exactly the same conditions, the cellulose produced will always show a uniform quality and also be very firm because the fibers are very spared. In addition, since there is no parboiling, the cooking time is reduced considerably and both the operation and the cooking itself are greatly simplified. The even heat consumption makes the use of electricity to heat the lye appear particularly advantageous.
