Die Erfindung besteht aus einem durch den Wechselstrom mittels eines polarisierten Elektromagneten gesteuerten Weehelstromgleichriehter, in welchem vier im Ruhezustand geschlossene Kontakte angeordnet sind.
N ist der lotrecht stehende Arm eines rechtwinkelig gebogenen Stahlmagneten N S, der den Elektro- magnet E. E trägt ; auf dem Südpol S ist eine eiserne Säule aufgeschraubt, auf deren oberem Ende der eiserne Anker A A sich oszillierend bewegen kann. Die Enden von A A tragen aus einem isolierenden Material bestehende Plättehen, welche mit eingesetzten Stiften Gabeln bilden, in welche die auf den Metallständern a und b aufgeschraubten Kontaktfedern F1, F2, Fa, F4 eben noch hineinragen. Die Federn bilden mit den Schrauben 1, 2, 3, 4 vier Kontakte, welche im Ruhestande stets geschlossen sind.
Der Wechselstrom tritt bei W, W1 in den Apparat und kann durch das Spiel der Kontakte zwischen G, G als Gleichstrom abgenommen werden. Die Schrauben 1 und 2 sind untereinander und mit der einen Gleiehstromkdemme, die Schrauben 3 und 4 ebenfalls untereinander und mit der zweiten Gleichstromklemme metallisch leitend verbunden. Die Schaltung ist die bekannte Schaltung nach Graetz. Der Wechselstrom tritt z. B. bei W ein, passiert E, E, geht nach a, über alle vier Kontakte nach b und Ifi.
