Die Erfindung betrifft einen aus Sehmiedeisen-oder Stahlröhren zusammengesetzten (geschweissten) Gliederkessel und besteht darin, dass er zur leichteren Herstellung sowie zur Vermeidung von schädlichen Spannungen aus untereinander vollständig gleichen symmetrischen Halbgliedern gebildet wird, so dass dieselben zu beiden Seiten der Kesselmittelebene verwendet werden können. Zui Bildung von Kesseln bestimmter Leistung werden die Glieder in der notwendigen Anzahl rechts und links von der senkrechten Mittelebene in der Längsrichtung des Kessels aneinandergereiht und in bekannter Weise mit Spannorganen aneinandergeschlossen.
