Staubabsonderungskammer angeordnet ist, zum Zweck, unter Vermeidung der abschleifenden Wirkung des Koksstaubes auf den Überhitzer sowohl nassen als auch auf regelbare Temperaturen überhitzten Dampf erzeugen zu können.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer solchen Anlage dargestellt. a ist der Kühlbehälter und b der Dampferzeuger einer Kokskühlanlage, bei der der Koks nach Einfüllung in den Behälter mittels eines in sich geschlossenen Gasstromes gekühlt wird. Der Gasstrom wird von einem Gebläse c in der Pfeilrichtung durch den Koks'und über die Kanäle d und e durch den Heizraum des Dampferze gers hindurchgetrieben. Die Anordnung ist so getroffen, dass die im Koks sich erhitzenden Gase auf ihrem Weg zu dem Dampferzeuger durch eine Kammer f geleitet werden, die zu dem doppelten Zweck, die Kühlgase von mitgerissenem Kohlenstaub zu befreien und den im Dampferzeuger erzet gten Dampf gegebenenfalls zu überhitzen, so ausgebildet ist, dass die Kühlgase in ihm einem.
