Abstract
An energy store (C) for temporarily supplying loads (MC1 to MCn) during switching over of the power supply devices (GR1, GR2) in the event of a disturbance and for briefly supplying the monitoring circuit is provided. When energy is taken from the energy store (C) as a consequence of a voltage interruption, a voltage drop occurs on a component (D2 to D5) which is sensitive to the current direction, to switch through an electronic switch (OPK0). Within a few microseconds, this switch triggers a disturbance report (55) and hence informs computers (MC1 to MCn) which are connected to the supply voltage of the disturbance which has occurred. A changeover relay (UR), located in the supply circuit of the electronic switch, permits the switching over of the power supply devices and is self-latched to maintain the disturbance report. The circuit is provided with test contacts (PT/1) for functional testing and with resetting contacts (RT/1) for returning to the basic position of the circuit. Said circuit is used for detecting dynamic voltage reductions in the power supply of computer systems. <IMAGE>
