Abstract
Device for electrochemical conversion, comprising systems of electrodes of opposite polarities in contact with an electrolyte, in which device at least one of the said electrode systems comprises an electrode (4) possessing active material in the form of consumable particles and means (5) of mechanical recharging of the said electrode from a reservoir of active particles for feeding the electrode at the rate at which the said particles are consumed, characterised in that the electrode with consumable particles possesses an electrically conductive foam structure consisting of a cellular collecting fitment which receives the said particles in its pores. <IMAGE>
