Abstract

The invention relates to an electromagnetically controlled safe lock having a codable release command and a handle for actuating the bolt (6), the case of which lock receives the bolt and a locking mechanism in a front recess, whilst mounted in a rear orifice of the case is an electromagnet (16), the armature of which is arranged on a blocking lever (15) equipped with a blocking nose (15a). The object of the invention is to redesign the electromagnetic bolt-blocking means in such a way that it becomes effective in both directions of movement of the bolt (6). This object is achieved by such a design of the blocking nose (15a) that, both during the retraction and during the extension of the bolt (6), the follower (13d) butts against the blocking nose if the electromagnet (16) is not energised. <IMAGE>
